NOAA Fisheries has launched another series of public webinars to discuss, and answer any additional questions you may have about the Program.
As you may know, NOAA Fisheries’ Seafood Import Monitoring Program established for imports of certain seafood products, the reporting and recordkeeping requirements needed to prevent illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU)-caught and/or misrepresented seafood from entering U.S. commerce. The mandatory effective date for compliance is January 1, 2018. The upcoming webinars have been tailored to address issues relevant to foreign exporters and U.S. domestic importers of seafood species whose products are covered by the Seafood Import Monitoring Program, and include:
