In an effort to provide awareness of and support for compliance with the U.S. Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIMP) traceability data reporting and record-keeping requirements in advance of the January 1, 2018 mandatory compliance date, NOAA Fisheries is hosting roundtables across the U.S. this summer. These meetings, held in Long Beach, CA, Seattle, WA, Newark, NJ, and Miami, FL, will address topics relevant to foreign exporters and U.S. domestic importers of seafood species whose products are covered by the Seafood Import Monitoring Program, such as:

- Implementation Timeline
- Pilot Testing in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) for Importers
- Traceability Data Requirements for Reporting
- Supply Chain of Custody Data Requirements for Recordkeeping
