Friday, May 29 @ 9:00AM PST
The Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee, a federal advisory committee to the Secretary of Commerce and NOAA Fisheries, is examining the concept of reestablishing a National Seafood Council under the Fish and Seafood Promotion Act of 1984, to support the collective U.S. seafood industry through marketing and education of the public on cohesive facts about seafood to increase consumption. Join members of the Committee as they share their findings to-date and engage in a facilitated discussion on what a National Seafood Council could do to improve seafood consumption and how it would operate.
