The initial guidance included only three pollock HTS category codes, but on January 18, new guidance was issued, adding several HTS codes to the list. This includes products like frozen pollock blocks, salted pollock fillets, frozen Alaska pollock, fresh pollock, fresh pollock fillets, frozen pollock meat, and salted whole/dressed pollock. The addition of these codes corrects an earlier oversight, ensuring that Russian-harvested pollock is fully covered by the U.S. sanctions regime targeting the Kremlin.
