The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is hosting a virtual workshop on the California Halibut Trawl Bycatch Evaluation and invites all interested stakeholders to join. This session is especially designed for those who could not attend the in-person kickoff meeting held April 30 in Sausalito, though participation is open to everyone involved or interested in California halibut and marine resource management.
What to Expect:
This interactive online workshop will follow the same agenda as the in-person session, providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions, offer input, and engage directly with CDFW staff. Your insights are essential as we work collaboratively to assess bycatch acceptability in the California halibut trawl fishery.
