The Northwest Fisheries Science Center and the University of Washington teamed up to train future fishery scientists with a course that allows students to work on applied fisheries science while getting graduate credits to apply toward their degrees. After working with scientists through the entire assessment process, the students presented their results at the June 2015 Pacific Fishery Management Council meeting.
