Food Defense and Food Fraud Workshop

This 1-day workshop is designed to equip participants with strategies to mitigate food fraud and reinforce food defense.

Food fraud is about the risk of product substitution, packaging substitution, dilution, and adulteration of raw materials and finished products.

Food defence is putting measures in place that reduce the chances of the food supply from becoming intentionally contaminated with harmful substances.

Content

  • Equip participants with knowledge to assist with food fraud strategy.
  • Design of a Vulnerability Assessment Control Plan, including supply chain management risk factors.
  • Understand supply chain management risk factors, significant risks and current methodologies in food defence.

Certificate provided upon completion of course.

Lunch and refreshments provided to in-person attendees.
