Major Supply Chain Update: Pacific Seafood and Ocean Beauty Seafoods Merge Distribution Operations
In a significant development for West Coast seafood supply chains, Pacific Seafood and Ocean Beauty Seafoods have announced the merger of their respective distribution businesses. Effective July 13, 2026, the transaction brings together two of the region’s historic, family-owned seafood legacy companies to better leverage growing market demand and maximize operational efficiencies.
The merger includes Ocean Beauty’s distribution facilities across several key Western and regional hubs, including Astoria and Portland, Oregon; Renton, Washington; Boise, Idaho; Helena, Montana; and Dallas, Texas. (Ocean Beauty’s Salt Lake City facility was not included in the transaction at closing). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
