The public comment period for the proposed first phase of a U.S. seafood traceability program will close next Tuesday, April 12. This first phase applies to fish and fish products identified as particularly at risk of IUU fishing and/or seafood fraud. The program will include collection or retention of data regarding harvest, landing, and chain of custody.
